On the auspicious night of Dusshera, Dr. Yugandhar, Yeswanth, and Hareesh gathered the village youth after the festive pooja. Dr. Yugandhar addressed the group about the deteriorating condition of their village, Nalagampalli. Comparing its current state to the beautiful and clean environment of his childhood, he emphasized the importance of unity in improving the village’s facilities, hygiene, and cleanliness. He stressed that the youth, being the future of the village, could create wonders through collective action, with or without government support.
The youth responded enthusiastically and immediately formed a group. They decided to elect a president to lead their initiatives. With widespread support, Hareesh proposed Naveen as the first president of the group, which was named “We for Our Nalagampalli” (Mana Oori Kosam Manam). This initiative later evolved into a larger movement called “Mana Ooru Mana Baadyatha” (Our Village, Our Responsibility).
